Hello. I am a history and geography buff living in Europe.

After being a passive internet user for more than a decade I just started recently to engage more actively in online communities by writing in discussion forums and in online platforms such as this one.

It is a great pleasure for me (albeit somewhat time-consuming) to write about my passions such as skiing, mountaineering and places I love. As a fan of history and living in 'old' Europe I like to discover and share some long-forgotten stories or other little things from past times.
